Dr. Turner received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in analytical chemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Aribex from 2003 to 2012, and principal inventor of the NOMAD handheld x-ray systems. In recognition of the commercial potential of the NOMAD, Aribex was purchased by Danaher Corporation (a Fortune 500 company with $16B in sales) in November of 2012. Using his proceeds from the sale of Aribex, Dr. Turner has founded Turner Ventures, an independent, privately held physical and life sciences investment firm that funds promising seed- and early-stage companies. In addition to angel investments, Turner Ventures’ operating portfolio includes Turner Innovations, an early stage research and development company focused on bridging the gaps between fundamental research and commercialization of technologies based on that research.

Charles received his BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, and has since supported companies such as The Boeing Company, Moxtek, Inc., and others in advancing a host of new products into production. Charles’ work at Boeing included New Airplane Product Development, with a focus on Design for Manufacturing. At Moxtek, Charles was instrumental in the production launch of their Bullet and Magnum miniature x-ray tubes and power supplies, ultimately leading the company’s entire Research & Development team. His current role of GM builds on this R&D leadership experience and his success in launching new products into production.

Tim earned an accounting degree from Brigham Young University and began his career with Ernst and Young in Denver. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado. Tim has owned and served as President and CEO of three organizations and as the CFO and executive in several others. He is currently a partner and outsourced CFO with Company Vitals and serves as the CFO of multiple client companies.

Matt Stewart has over 20 years of Supply Chain Management experience from Fortune 500 companies in diverse industries such as Oil & Gas to Aerospace to Hospitality. He has created supply chain systems from scratch at several of these companies, including inventory management optimization using Kanban and other lean methodologies, single-piece flow of receiving and shipping functions, and supply base performance excellence through partnerships and spend category performance improvements. His experience includes both import and export functional expertise. He also has extensive experience with Oracle and other ERP systems, including fulfilling the role of NetSuite Administrator at Turner MedTech.
